While cleaning separators act on coarse impurities and somatic cells, bacteria separators act on total bacteria and spore bacteria. In other words, bacteria separators are used to separate bacteria with low effect of cleaning separators. You should consider that bacteria that cannot be separated by the cleaning separator may cause quality problems in the final product, as they cannot be separated in the pasteurization stage.
