Marine Seperators Indispensable for Modern Ship Technology

The maritime sector is a dynamic industry that constitutes one of the most important elements of trade and transport. Various technical equipment is utilised to ensure efficient and safe ship operations. Marine separators are at the forefront of this equipment.

The main function of marine separators is to ensure long-lasting and efficient operation of ship engines by separating contaminants such as water and sediment in fuel and lubricating oil. This process improves engine performance, while at the same time reducing equipment wear and reducing operational costs.

First Marine Separator Made in Turkey: A Milestone

The import of many equipment in the Turkish maritime sector increases the costs and reveals the need for domestic production. HAUS Centrifuge Technologies has taken an important step to meet this need and developed a ship separator in international standards. The product, which was completed after long-term R&D studies and intensive design processes, has a certificate approved by Türk Loydu, a member of IACS (International Association of Classification Societies), and has entered the mass production phase.

Design and R&D Process

Our marine separators can be easily placed in limited spaces in engine rooms thanks to their compact design. It saves space with its low footprint and impresses with its high performance. The compact design facilitates maintenance and cleaning operations and enables a layout plan compatible with other equipment in the ship design. Thus, installation, integration and maintenance processes in shipyards are accelerated.

Depending on the needs of ship operators and engineering companies, marine separators can be designed as compact or as a single option. Especially fully equipped units minimise the layout complexity on board by housing all the necessary equipment (pumps, heaters, control panels, etc.) in a single hull. This provides time and cost advantages in project management.

Our separators are equipped with fully automated control systems and can operate effectively with minimal human intervention. The control and synchronization of all electromechanical, electromagnetic, and electropneumatic components are managed by the software developed in-house by our team. The water content of the cleaned product is monitored in real-time, and the system ensures that operations are maintained in compliance with the required standards, thereby maximizing operational reliability. The high level of automation minimises the risk of error while reducing labour costs. Their user-friendly interfaces and flexible control mechanisms help to increase the operational efficiency of the ship management.

Flexibility in Technology and Economic Solution

To adapt to competitive market conditions, marine separator series has been developed through the intensive and dedicated efforts of our local engineers. This series stands out in the industry with optimized production processes and reduced inventory costs while offering quick and flexible solutions to customer demands thanks to its modular structure. Additionally, it provides operational advantages to its users by minimising maintenance and operating costs.

With their innovative and user-friendly designs, HAUS marine separators are on their way to becoming an indispensable part of ship technology fort he maritime industry.

Vision for the Future

As HAUS, we are starting a new era in the maritime sector with our products ready for use in domestic and foreign ships. We aim to create a wider product family with marine separators in different capacities and product types that we are developing. We will continue to strengthen the position in the maritime sector by combining the power of advanced technology and high quality production.

In-house Launch: Proud Success

In the spirit of our gratitude and appreciation, we introduced our first ship separator, which was realised after a long period of meticulous studies and tests, with a special in-house launch.

Mr Hakkı Gözlüklü, Chief Executive Officer of HAUS, emphasised that this project proves our ability to produce fully independent technology as a national value, opens the door to new markets and applications and is a great source of motivation for our next targets.

Within the scope of the launch, project details were shared and commemorative gifts were presented to the teams who successfully accomplished this challenging journey.

As HAUS family, we are proud of the national capability we have brought to the sector with this innovative step and we continue to produce in the light of innovation and science with the strength we gain from our achievements!

Centrifuge machines are high speed, therefore their maintenance and controls should be done on time. Planned maintenance activities extend the working life of the machines, ensure the continuity of your process and prevent unforeseen breakdown that may occur in the future due to usage error or normal use. For this reason, we recommend you to make a planned maintenance agreement. If you submit your request, our After Sales Services department will contact you for the most appropriate maintenance agreement for your process and needs.
You must keep the delivery report provided to you during and after commissioning, the sales contract, the operating manual provided with the machine, the electrical project, the checklists prepared by HAUS during commissioning and the service commissioning report for future service and maintenance needs.
"First of all, you should carefully read the user operation manual provided with your machine and make sure that the specified suggestions and instructions are followed completely. You should choose your operators among those who are trained or willing to keep up. Full participation in the operator training given by the personnel sent during commissioning should be ensured and people who do not receive this training should be prevented from interfering with the machine. It should be ensured that the relevant operators of all shifts are ready for this training in the commissioning training. You should pay attention to the maintenance and cleaning of your machine, make sure that the maintenance plan is fully implemented and make sure that the controls specified in the user's operating manual are carried out. During maintenance, you should pay attention to the use of original spare parts. While using your machine, attention should be paid to the errors and warnings on the user screen, it should be checked by observing that the operating parameters are in accordance with the given values. It should be ensured that the usage limits are not exceeded, in case of any contrary, the machine should be stopped immediately with the methods specified in the user manual and should be contacted with after sales services department. Use oils recommended by HAUS After Sales Services for machinery and auxiliary equipment. Upon request, HAUS After Sales Services department provides on-site machine usage training.
