HAUS Europe celebrating 10th anniversary

It was the first of May 2012 when HAUS Europe opened her first office in Ridderkerk, close to Rotterdam, which I remember like the day of yesterday, but it was already 10 years ago. Time flies as they say and it is definitely true.

In 2010 I met Mr Hakkı during an exhibition and he informed me about his ambitions to develop the activities in Europe. He asked me if I was willing to join that journey and after visiting the factory in Aydin I was impressed. Impressed about the factory, the quality level of manufacturing and the quality of the machines, but mostly about the people that I have met in Aydin: young, ambitious, educated, passionate and cooperative. To me it looked like the right environment for a flourishing business.

It was in the middle of an economic crisis here in Europe, people were losing their jobs and it seemed not to be the best timing. The motivation was that if we could stand up and start walking in the middle of a crisis, it should be possible to conquer all future challenges in the world! That was the ambition and motivation in 2012 and it is still actual and valid.

After starting up our business in 2012 we sold over 350 installations in Europe until today and we extended our team to a group of 12 professionals here in Holland. The HAUS train is definitely picking up speed and during that journey we had to adapt to situations and changing circumstances. Our first office became to small and we moved to a four time bigger facility which we did during the world pandemic situation of 2020. Our travel possibilities were limited and we could focus on this strategic move. 350 square meters of office space and 1.200 square meters of warehouse. Prepared to offer excellent service to our agents and customers with a warehouse facility for spare parts and pre-ordered HAUS equipment to guarantee availability and short lead times.

After our move we realised that this step was only possible due to the cooperation between our colleagues here in Holland and our colleagues based all over the world, but moreover due to our agents, sales representatives, our dear customers and the growing awareness and acceptation of our brand.

In the meantime we have started a new company in Germany (HAUS Germany) and we have the possibility now to build complete containerised and turn-key units in our own facility at HAUS Europe.

Today we are in another complicated situation with a war influencing the whole world, scarcity of raw materials and area’s without the availability of water and food. Hard to belief that this is true in 2022, but we have a difficult period in front of us which we will conquer together!

We are always talking about growth in business, but if we want to grow as a world, we should start to work on our worldwide and mutual understanding. Understanding between people, different cultures, different religions and different countries. Simply Because We Care and for sure our business will follow.

"Before the machines are unloaded from the vehicle or the container, the general control must be made, and the machines condition must be recorded with photographs or video if possible. The date, time and location of the damage should be noted. As soon as the damage is detected, a report must be signed by the driver of the vehicle, the number of damaged containers must be indicated on the CMR convention and the signature of the carrier must be taken. CMR insurance will then be activated.
