Animal products are of great importance in adequate and balanced diet of societies. Livestock industry is growing day by day depending on population growth in the world. The biggest cost of this growing industry is feed products that are used in livestock raising.
In developed countries, 50% of live weight of the animal at slaughter to produce meat for human consumption remains as an animal side product. With development of industry, waste produced in slaughterhouses is converted into side products with addedvalue after reprocessing by considering environmental damage.
These side products that are not appropriate for human consumption are evaluated and converted into highprotein foods and oil products with high additives for animal feed.
