Since 2011, STEM has become a popular education system spreading from the USA and it has been implemented in many schools in the world and in our country. Thanks to this system, it is aimed to remove the lessons such as science and mathematics from the memorization system, to improve the applicability of the information in real life and to develop problem solving techniques, to highlight the characteristics of curiosity, research and creativity.
Thanks to advancing technologies and mobile phones, televisions, computers and robotic systems used in the digitalizing world, the need/demand for digital professions is increasing day by day and STEM trainings are offered to the students who can analyse, produce and use these systems in order to get more comfortable education in the universities. With this education system, it is aimed to adapt more easily to the occupations of the future and to eliminate the professional concerns.
Our company, which is a pioneer of innovations in this direction, brought together the children of the employees of our company in a beautiful event in the Stem Centre Mechatronics Workshop, which is affiliated to Aydın Provincial Directorate of National Education. The children who were divided into two groups according to their age received training on robotics coding from the teachers at the Mechatronics Workshop with activities appropriate for their age. In accordance with the trainings they received, they had the opportunity to practice on robots. Various relevant games were played during the training.
