The fact that human history has been drinking milk for 5000 years has led to the formation of a huge milk and dairy products industry over time. Although some progress was made until the 1800s, when the calendars showed the year 1890, the great revolution came. Thanks to the work of Louis Pasteur, we suddenly became acquainted with the concept of pasteurization. Since then, the first thing to do for all of us in milk consumption is pasteurization. What about the most important steps in the production of milk and dairy products?

GÜRSÜT & HAUS cooperation, which has been going on for many years, started in 2017.

Gürsüt is a company that has an important share in the industry, producing with more than four hundred personnel in a closed area of ten thousand square meters in the Tire district of İzmir. As the HAUS family, we take part in the facility of this powerful industry player with a lot of our machines; two clarifiers, 30T cream separator, 30T timer, 20T cream separator, 20T baktifier and the smallest of the family 5T cream separator. Although all of our machines are the most preferred and efficient machines in the sector, the first factor that makes us valuable for our customers is our national and local identity. We are proud that our original spirit, which we have preserved by starting in a small workshop in Aydın and continuing with knowledge, dedication, discipline and hard work, is still the first choice. It is very valuable for us to preserve this identity by developing both locally and globally, and to make our customers feel it, especially in a period when technology is developing so intensely and rapidly.

However, we are proud to convey the words of our customer, who always want to emphasize how close we are to them; “… Yes, the sales personnel can sell the first machine, but it is the service, quality and R&D service that makes the other machines sell…. HAUS is about forty kilometers away from here, but it is just a breath away…”

As anyone operating in the dairy industry knows, speed is very important. In waste water, palm oil, etc. processes, slow processes may be tolerated, but it is vital for the milk process. For this reason, fast processing is the vital condition of the milk process. It was a great journey for us to use our production power in line with our customer’s dreams and vision, to evaluate all analysis stages together and to manage the points open to development together. İ.E.: Can you introduce yourself and your company briefly please?

E.K.: I am Enis Köylü.

I have been working in GÜRSÜT as a technical manager for three years. GÜRSÜT Company has been in the dairy sector for 41 years. Our main production is cheese. We produce cheddar cheese, tulum cheese, curd cheese, and all other cheeses. We are producing in our Tire factory in Izmir, on an area of ten thousand square meters, with more than four hundred personnel.

İ.E.: Where do you use HAUS at the factory?

E.K.: We have been working with HAUS for more than ten years.

There are HAUS machines from the smallest capacity to the highest capacity in our facility.

In our factory, we have two clarifiers, one thirty-tonne cream separator, one thirty-tonne bacteria removal separator, one twenty-tonne cream separator, one twenty-tone bacteria removal separator, and one more separator in the area where we extract the cream, which we call whey. And the smallest member of our family is also a five-tonne HAUS, thank goodness.

HAUS is the first machine that meets with the milk when it arrives. When the milk comes to our facility, it first physically passes through coarse filters and then passes through HAUS’s clarifier separators.

İ.E.: Why HAUS? What are the advantages?

E.K.: We are very pleased with HAUS. Its R&D support, service support, network, and spare parts availability make us glad.

HAUS is about forty kilometers from here, but just a breath away. Therefore, they have intervened very quickly in services.

We had a trial and R&D studies for bacteria removal separators here at our factory. We had good cooperation in that sense. After all, HAUS is a solution partner for us. We evaluate all the test results together. We decided on the advantages and disadvantages aspects of the machine altogether. Thus, we decided to purchase the new machine from HAUS.

In today’s economic conditions, the dairy sector is also having hard times like others. Therefore, it is important to work with a company like HAUS.

After your machine arrives, the first thing to do is to open the packaging of the machine and check whether there is any damage or deficiency on it. The equipment you have delivered should be kept in a closed and safe environment away from moisture, heat, and humid environments. To be sure that the documents such as usage, operating manual, electrical project sent to you with the machine will not be lost, you should make sure that you secure such documents. You should make sure that the set of tools are correct and complete, and that you keep such tools in a suitable place for use when necessary. You should contact the project department for installation and after your installation is complete, you should contact HAUS After Sales Services for commissioning.
